Book Review "Among the Hidden"

Hi! I'm Erin's daughter here and who is called the preteen in the family. Yay!  So do you have a preteen who is glue to  a computer or phone? Well super-teen to the rescue! I'm bookworm and I LOVE to read! I just join a book-club in fact! Never mind that. :)
Here are a book review on Among The Hidden.

1//Among The Hidden By Margaret Peterson
"Luke has never been to school. He's never had a birthday party, or gone to a friend's house for an overnight. In fact, Luke ha s never has a friend. Luke is one of the shadow, a third child forbidden by the Population Police. He's lived his entire life in hiding, and now, with a new housing development replacing the woods next to his family farm, he in no longer even allowed to go outside. Then, one day Luke sees a girl's face in the window of a house where he knows two other children already live. Finally he's met a shadow child like himself. Jen is willing to risk everything to come out of the shadows-does Luke dare to become involved in her dangerous plan? Can he afford not to?"

Romance- A kiss by the parents but that's it.

Violence- None in the first chapters, but then something dangerous happens and it gets very violence like people get killed.

Language- 2 "bad" words by the parents, about the new buildings.

Age Ratings- 12-15 I would say because of the violence.

My Review- In the first chapters I really enjoyed. It was interesting because the writer took real laws from others countries, like no junk food and you can only 2 children. Then it got dangerous.
Luke leave home and Jen makes a life changing choice. Next killing/ almost like war.  The whole book was a little sad, interesting and violence.

I hope you give this book a buy or a check-out of your library. I will be coming back to write up a another book review. Thanks for reading!
